Timeline
Where Gluniverse is, and how it got here. This is the honest record. When the stage changes, it changes here first.
Now: open alpha
Gluniverse has been in open alpha since 19 July 2026, and since 27 July the door is simply open: anyone with a Solana wallet can enter, no token and no whitelist. Connect a wallet, sign once, and play.
What is live right now:
- The full world: the Dead Forest, the four wild lands, the Foal Pen, the Crossroads, the Field, the town of Glueburg, the Arena and the Ocean.
- The player economy: finite resources, crafting, gear that rolls rarity, and the Gloo Exchange order book with live charts.
- Land you claim and a stable you build and ride from.
- Fighting in the wild, with real stakes, and staked duels between players.
- The Bank, where gloo swaps to and from SOL and part of every swap buys and burns $GLUE.
- Cosmetics that drop in the wild and trade at Sticky Situations.
- The casino, the races, the magic tree lottery and the pub racebook.
Since the alpha opened
The world has not sat still. What has landed since:
- The Ocean. A hidden all-water zone past the Shore for souls at level 16, with fish, reef sharks, a new material and the Ocean Treasury.
- Swimming, slow and submerged, and the level 16 ground slam.
- The Arena grew teeth. Staked duels in leagues, and open-ground knockouts that take your bag.
- Racing leagues, career records and leaderboards.
- Death loot you can chase: a pin on where you fell and three minutes where the pile is yours alone.
- The Camera and the portrait studio in town.
- Knacker's Pass, the open PvP snow mountain, its frost forge and the boss Lil Knacker, the only source of keystones and relics.
- The Black Market: thirty player shops, the land sale board, and the Noctavia claim.
- Poker at the casino, which became a real walk in hall.
- The level cap rose to 35, referrals pay both sides, and the five skill relics wait on K.
The economy rebalance, August 2026
The biggest change the world has had, in two waves, and it is worth knowing which ones changed rules you may have learned.
10 August. The five common materials, sap, straw, water, hide and scrap, stopped being pools that empty forever and became renewable, bounded by a ceiling on how much may be held at once. The world had literally run out of ground the week before. No supply was added: each ceiling is exactly the total its pool already held. See Scarcity and the Cap.
15 and 16 August. The ownership arc:
- Horse shit went premium. Its nodes are gone. A stable and the activity bar are the only two sources left.
- The tent, a shelter you carry, pitch and repair, for players with no land.
- Rooms inside stables, with furniture to put in them.
- Upkeep, so owning a stable costs bricks every day, and the auction, so land nobody comes back to goes up for sale.
- New land: eleven more plots, unlocking as new players reach level 8.
- Armour fusing at the kiln, and a kiln you can build in your own yard.
- The trading licence replaced the level 15 sell gate with a nine quest chain.
The racing Track has its own phases, tracked on Where We Are.
Before: invite alpha
The world first opened to a small, closed invite list, whitelisted wallets only, to harden the netcode, the economy and the combat against real players. That shakedown is done, and those wallets carry straight into open alpha.
Next
The world keeps growing. New zones only ever add supply, they never edit what is already there, and each one is announced as content. What comes after open alpha is not announced yet. When it is ready, you will read it here first.
The honest note
This is an early alpha, and real money moves through the Bank on chain. Things can break, and scarcity is a game mechanic, not investment advice. Play it like a game.
