Poker at the Casino

At the back of GLUE ADDICTION sit four card tables dealing TEXAS GLUE'EM, which is exactly what it sounds like: no limit hold'em, against real players, in gloo.

The four tables

Table Blinds Buy in
Gutter 50 / 100 2,000 to 10,000
Street 500 / 1,000 20,000 to 100,000
Velvet 5,000 / 10,000 200,000 to 1,000,000
Royalty 50,000 / 100,000 2,000,000 to 10,000,000

The buy in is 20 to 100 big blinds of the tier, escrowed out of your pocket when you sit. A short stack can rebuy back up to 100 big blinds between hands, never past it. A hand needs two live stacks and a table seats five. One seat per wallet across the whole room.

The house never plays

There is no dealer to beat, only each other. The house's whole take is the rake: 5% of the pot, capped at 3 big blinds, and only from pots that saw a flop. Fold everything preflop and the house earns nothing: no flop, no drop. The rake funds the town treasury, so it is the one gambling take in the world that is not burned.

Every shuffle is server side and cryptographically random. Chips in equal chips out plus rake, every hand, exactly.

The clock

You get 25 seconds to act. Miss your turn and it checks or folds for you. Miss two in a row and you are sitting out; sit out for two minutes between hands and the table stands you up with your stack refunded, so a disconnect never eats a buy in.

The XP

Every hand you are dealt into pays 15 XP, win or lose, on the first 200 hands a day. Like the slots, it is a trickle for playing, never a ladder.

The honest note

This is real money moving between players at up to royal stakes. The table does not care how it felt. Buy in with what you can lose.
