The Community Vote

The game has a suggestion box with money in it.

Opening it

The ballot button in the HUD, beside the friends list. Hotkey J.

Three tabs

The window is more than a ballot box now.

  • vote, the two boards below.
  • changes, the game's own changelog, newest release first. What shipped, in plain words, without leaving the world.
  • stats, the live board: the $GLUE price, what has been burned, and what the bank is holding.

Two boards on the vote tab

  • Founder proposals. Things being considered for the game. You vote yes or no.
  • Community ideas. Things other players have proposed. You vote yes or no on those too.

Posting an idea

You need to be level 11. An idea is a title and a description, and you can post one a day. That limit is what keeps the board readable instead of a wall from one person.

Voting

Every idea has a yes and a no button, and the running tally sits beside them. One vote per player per idea, and you can change your mind: voting yes and then no moves your vote, it does not add a second one. Your current pick stays highlighted so you can see what you chose.

The prize

Every week the founder reads the board and picks one winner by hand. That player takes 50,000 gloo.

The pick being manual is the important part. Vote counts are advice to the person choosing, not an automatic payout, so there is nothing to be won by voting with a pile of alt accounts. The votes say what people want. The choice stays human.
